VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides medical care for military veterans at two locations in the Pittsburgh area through the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Ample parking spaces or valet parking are available at both locations.

Allegheny County Veteran Services
ACVS can review discharge and service records to assist in determining healthcare eligibility through the Department of Veterans Affairs. If found to be eligible, this office can assist in completing the appropriate paperwork to obtain such benefit(s).

TRICARE is the primary medical insurance provider for service members and retirees. National Guard and Reservists may have options to purchase into the TRICARE network.


Pittsburgh Vet Center
The Vet Center offers confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families. Services include counseling for needs such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST).


Veterans Crisis Line
The Veterans Crisis Line is a call center for veterans experiencing any level of crisis. The representatives are trained and educated in veteran matters and provide confidential support that allows the veteran to dictate what information they share.
